Ya'Gotta is a website that provides news, information and resources, about responsible adventure tourism in Western Canada.
We publish articles and information about camping, hiking, backpacking, cycling orienteering, horseback riding and an aboriginal powwow listing in summer. During the winter months we focus on dog sledding, mushing, snow shoeing, downhill and cross country skiing.
A major feature is our Ya'Gotta adventure destination feature articles, that focus on outdoor adventure locations in Western Canada, that "Ya'Gotta" visit.
Through Ya'Gotta Communications & Marketing, we also offer complete promotional material production, website design and media relations services, for adventure tour operators, accommodations, transportation, outdoors related events and conservation groups. For destination marketing organizations that want to increase the amount of their adventure tourism visitors, we offer consulting services and provide our Getting Your Message "Out" workshops.
One of our strategies, with this site is the obvious...Unlike print media, we don't use paper (ergo: less waste). Also we're keeping the site as simple as possible, so it loads quickly (ergo: uses less power), so there are no "glitzy" introductions, or slow loading graphics and linked applications.
